Moving Edge Limited was established in the mid nineties to manufacture and distribute the world’s first and only safety knife with a moving action blade – The Moving Edge Safety Knife - the predecessor to the all new GR8 range.

Based on extensive research and customer feedback, the GR8 is the safety knife that you have been waiting for. With all the features of the original Moving Edge knife, the GR8 goes one better. And with three versions to choose from, there is a GR8 to suit every pocket.

We also make the revolutionary DBX knife – another safer alternative to open bladed knives which cause so many workplace accidents.

Founded in 1996 we have grown to become market leaders with a host of household name clients - B&Q, 3663, DHL Exel Logistics, Dawson News Group, Asda and Smiths News.

As well as the UK, we also supply our knives to customers around the world - from North America to New Zealand.

As a company, Moving Edge is committed to developing both new and safer solutions to the open blade. Our aim is driven by the need to ensure safety while maintaining versatility.
