Safety Knives For Food

Following recent new guidelines for the leading UK supermarkets, Moving Edge has introduced new innovative safety options to the GR8 Pro Food Safe, Safety Knife.

The GR8 Pro Food Safe version is already available with the Standard cutting head for general purpose duties such as opening bags and boxes, and cutting shrink wrap. However, we now have the GR8 Pro Food Safe knife available with the Universal head for applications where the knife is continuously cutting cardboard.

To further enhance the GR8 Pro Food Safe knife, we also offer the knife with a fixed workshop pin, so the blade can only be changed in a safe and dedicated location with a special tool.

Controlling and recording the usage of knives in a food production environment is made easier as all our safety knives feature a substantial loop (as standard) to attach both a lanyard and identification tag.

Moving Edge also offers a sharps waste bin service too. There is the option to purchase the sharps bin for your disposal, or we also offer a return service where once the bin is full, simply lock the lid down and post it back to us for safe disposal.
